Welcome to L’Hirondelle self catering guest house.
We are a small family house, not a resort, and we have never wanted to be one. Six apartments, a garden that runs down toward the water, and the sound of Grand Anse through the shutters at night.
Our family has looked after guests here for many years. You will be given your keys by someone who lives here, told where the good bread is, and otherwise left in peace to enjoy the island at your own pace.

The second island of the Seychelles is small enough to cross in an afternoon, and holds a forest that exists nowhere else on earth. Most of what follows is within twenty minutes of the front gate.

A light footprint on a small island
Praslin is a small place, and everything brought onto it has to be dealt with here. We keep our water and energy use low, avoid single-use plastic in the apartments, and buy what we can from the island itself. None of it is remarkable. It is simply what living here properly requires.
